Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Gybio ("Gybio", "we", "us"), a web app for identifying loose LEGO® bricks and matching them to your own sets. By using Gybio you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Gybio lets you add the LEGO sets you own, scan a loose brick with your camera, and see which of your sets need it — in the right colour and quantity — and track what you've found. Brick recognition and set data are provided via third parties (Brickognize and Rebrickable).

2. Accounts

You can use the free plan with limited features. To sync across devices and unlock more, you create a free account using your email. You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information.

3. Free plan & Gybio Pro

  • The free plan includes scanning, matching, check-off, search and cloud sync, limited to 3 sets.
  • Gybio Pro removes the set limit (unlimited sets). It costs £3.99/month or £39.99/year (prices include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise).

4. Billing & cancellation

  • Gybio Pro is a recurring subscription that automatically renews each month or year until cancelled. Payment is taken by Stripe.
  • You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of your current paid period.
  • We may change prices; we'll give reasonable notice before any change affects you.

5. Refunds

If something's wrong, contact hello@gybio.co.uk and we'll try to help. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. As Gybio Pro is a digital service that begins immediately, refunds for partly-used periods are at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it; no using it unlawfully; no interfering with other users. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.

7. Intellectual property & trademarks

Gybio is independent and not affiliated with, authorised, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise, or endorse Gybio. Set and part data is sourced from Rebrickable. The Gybio name, branding, and app are owned by us.

8. Third-party services

Gybio relies on third-party services (including Brickognize and Rebrickable) that we don't control. Their availability and accuracy aren't guaranteed, and features depending on them may change or be interrupted.

9. "As is" & liability

Gybio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service from time to time; continued use means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using Gybio and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
